SITRANS F M Intermag 2/Transmag 2是一个基于微处理器，并带有数字文本显示及多种语言的变送器。这种变送器可以记录和处理来自SITRANS F M系列电磁感应测量传感器的测量信号。它们适用于流速高达12m/s的介质。
所有类型的Intermag 2变送器都能和SITRANS F M 711/A和711/E测量传感器配套。分离型变送器还能和SITRANS F M 711/S和711/F5传感器、S1和S2探头配套。由于它们采用直接励磁，Intermag 2变送器可以适用于最小电导率为3μs/cm的介质。
各种类型的Transmag 2变送器都能和SITRANS F M 911/E测量传感器配套。分离型变送器还能和SITRANS FM 911/F5测量传感器配套。由于它们采用高频交流励磁，Transmag 2变送器适用于非常低电导率的介质(最小电导率大约为0.008μs/cm)、高浓度颗粒的介质、脉动流介质和两相流介质。
