AC500系统的主要模块：

□本地扩展：
在CPU本地最多可扩展7个I/O模块。在以下两个条件都满足的情况下，最多10个I/O模块可以连接到CPU的I/O总线上：

·CPU的固件版本为V1.2以上
□分布式扩展：
采用DC505 FBP总线接口模块(PROFIBUS DP. CANopen、 DeviceNet、ModbusRTU)，分站中可最多扩展7个I/O模块（最多4个模拟量模块）。
CPU（包括通讯模块）和I/O模块要分别安装在CPU底板和I/O底板上，这些底板支持DIN导轨安装和螺钉安装。
