Logic Developer – PLC 可以在个人电脑上进行控制程序的开发，并且通过以太网或串行口/调制解调器下载到PLC中。
在 Machine Edition 的软件环境中， Logic Developer – PLC 提供了大量的先进的、实用的公共编程工具 。这些公共编程工具可以被Logic Developer – PC （PC Control）， Logic Developer -State， CIMPLICITY View和CIMPLICITY运动控制所共同使用， 提供了一个集成的编程环境。Machine Edition 统一编程环境和共用的开发工具为用户提供了数据共享和网络操作的功能。
Logic Developer – PLC的性能特点：
• Hardware Configuration （HWC）： 硬件配置工具，用于组态GE Fanuc PLC的机架式系统或远程 I/O系统。关于HWC更详细的情况。
• LD Editor： 一个智能的，基于图形的梯行图开发工具，用户可以自己定义开发界面和运行环境。关于LD Editor更详细的情况。
• IL Editor： 一个便于使用，自由格式的文本编辑器用于创建语句表控制逻辑， 用户可以自己定义格式规则和颜色代码，从而使程序更加易读，关于IL Editor更详细的情况。
